Plaza Construction promoted Joe Cerri, Jorge Moros and Robert Thompson to Vice President in its Southeast Regional office located in Miami.
With over 35 years of major construction experience, Joe Cerri provides executive leadership, oversight and support to field superintendents including schedule preparation, site logistics, quality control and subcontractor coordination. In addition to his new role as Vice President, Cerri continues to serve as General Superintendent. Cerri holds a degree in civil engineering.
Jorge Moros is a 20-year construction veteran and is recognized for his ability to manage and coordinate technically challenging projects in high-density urban environments. As Vice President, Moros continues to serve as an Operations Manager providing broad management control over project assignment, construction planning, execution and administration. He also provides leadership related to budget and schedule analysis, quality, risk management and contract negotiations. Moros earned an MBA from Eastern Michigan University and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Simon Bolivar University.
Robert Thompson has 35 years of major construction experience and as Vice President will continue to serve as an Operations Manager. He provides broad management control over project assignment, construction planning, execution and administration. He also provides leadership related to budget and schedule analysis, quality, risk management and contract negotiations. Thompson holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of the State of New York (USNY) – Regents College.
