The “Ovation” is the recently unveiled proposal to develop 145 acres in Cool Springs, Tenn., by developers SouthStar LLC and Highwoods Properties. The project will include over 1 million square feet of office buildings, a 300-room hotel, and 350,000 square feet of retail and dining space. The $700 million project is expected to start site development by next summer, and ground breaking for the first office building is expected in the fall of 2014. Read the The Tennessean story here.
