Internationally renowned Italian design firm, Pininfarina is pleased to announce the latest addition to its Miami team, Stefano Luppi. Bringing nearly a decade of experience in industrial design to Pininfarina of America, Luppi will oversee concept development and design delivery and bolster the Miami design studio’s technical engineering and product fabrication offering –– with a primary concentration on the firm’s nautical sector. Relocating from the company’s Torino headquarters, Luppi will work closely alongside Paolo Trevisan, Head of Architecture and Design, and the industrial design team to continue solidifying the US studio’s aesthetic vision while expanding the team’s capabilities suite to better serve the North American market.
A long-time boating enthusiast, Luppi studied Industrial Design at The Polytechnic University of Milan and the Naval and Nautical Design program in La Spezia, Italy. His passion led him to an Italian yacht shipyard company where he was engaged in all aspects of the design process from first sketch to physical delivery –– a holistic process that continues to energize and inspire him to this day. In 2017, Luppi joined Pininfarina’s world-class team of multidisciplinary designers, where he further honed his creative perspective through the framework of Pininfarina’s values of ‘Elegance, Purity, and Innovation’.

Luppi’s addition to the team solidifies Pininfarina’s role as a premium design-build firm within the nautical sector with a U.S. office to best serve its clientele from.
