Peter Balint, President and CEO of Dryvit Systems, Inc., the leading manufacturer of exterior insulation and finish systems (EIFS) in North America, announced his planned retirement, effective May 2015. With this announcement, Dryvit promoted R. Michael Murphy to President of Dryvit Systems, USA; In addition, the following appointments were announced:  Tony Stall as Vice President, Business Development; Bruce Wingate as Vice President, Marketing & Sustainability; and Nikki Wakeman as Vice President, General Counsel. All appointments are effective as of June 1, 2014.
“It’s been an honor to serve as President/CEO of Dryvit for the past 16 years,” said Balint. “One of the most important responsibilities is to ensure leadership succession that will maintain the confidence of Dryvit’s customers and employees. These selected leaders have the knowledge, drive and vision for the future growth of the company.”
Mike Murphy has been in leadership positions with Dryvit for 21 years, most recently as Executive Vice President. In his new role, Murphy will be responsible for all aspects of the U.S. business, including operations, finance, sales and marketing.
Tony Stall was named to V.P. of Business Development.  Tony’s 18 years of experience with Dryvit in various capacities will allow him to direct this new business unit at Dryvit.
Bruce Wingate moved from Vice President & General Manager of Triarch (Dryvit’s interior finishes division) to head up the marketing team at Dryvit as Vice President, Marketing & Sustainability. Wingate co-founded Triarch Industries in 1984 and sold the company to Dryvit/RPM in 2003.  He brings over 29 years of industry experience to this position.
Nikki Wakeman was promoted to Vice President, General Counsel for Dryvit Systems as a result of Ken Nota being promoted to General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Dryvit’s parent company, RPM.  Wakeman joined Dryvit in 1998 as an intern. Wakeman has been a valuable asset to Dryvit’s U.S., Canadian, UK and Polish business. She received a law degree, admittance to the bar and an MBA while working at Dryvit, allowing her to contribute even more to Dryvit.
These management changes will allow Dryvit to continue to have the most experienced executive team in the industry.
