People come to office for work, but stay for hospitality

JLL and The Gettys Group are teaming up to create a global, full-service, hospitality-infused experience in the workplace, combining Gettys’ hospitality design and branding expertise with JLL’s Property Management, Experience Management (XM) and Flex business lines.
“We are delighted to be joining forces with JLL and know that the combined creativity, innovation and experience of our teams will be a powerful force for change in the workplace,” said Roger Hill, Chairman and CEO of The Gettys Group.
JLL’s approach combines flexible working and experience-led amenities to create an engaging, on-brand and multi-functional workplace environment. Tapping industry-leading design and development experts, The Gettys Group, the companies work hand-in-hand to deliver branding and design solutions for property owners, including renovations and floor repositioning; office amenity activation, including reward and loyalty program development; and cohesive branding and design from floor-to-ceiling and everything in between.
“The ways in which we work are changing, and just as rapidly, where we work,” says Mark Zettl, President of JLL’s Property Management Group. “Designing a space is more than a fresh coat of paint on the walls. It’s about driving experience — implementing hospitality into operations can help create a culture where employees feel more connected to the company and their fellow co-workers. This is critical, now more than ever, as employees return to the office and demand more from their workplace.”
The collective solution—combining JLL’s real estate knowledge and vast suite of workplace solutions and The Gettys Group’s immense track record of design and branding for the most prestigious hotels in the industry—is a key value-add opportunity for property owners’ assets and overall brand equity; allowing buildings to differentiate themselves, remain competitive and attract and retain the best talent. The solution can be implemented at a single property, various locations or entire portfolios.
“Spaces are designed, branded and amenitized with employee well-being in mind and can include strategically positioned floorplan layouts and touchless, technology-driven amenity services,” added JLL’s Head of XM, Tom Larance. "This remains top-of-mind as workers head back to the office and tenants aim to fill their spaces.”
In fact, according to a recent JLL article, happy employees have a 79 percent lower burnout rate, are 61 percent less likely to leave, 31 percent more productive and three times more creative; providing tenants ample opportunity to retain workers and unlock value through this approach.
