MBP is pleased to announce that Blake Peck, PE, CCM, FCMAA, has been elected to the National Academy of Construction.
The appointment recognizes and honors individuals for their distinguished contributions and accomplishments to the industry. Peck will be inducted at a ceremony in his honor in Napa Valley on October 20, 2016.
“Blake’s election symbolizes his leadership in the construction industry not only as a practitioner and executive, but as someone who has worked hard and successfully in professionalizing the industry, setting standards and mentoring. With his enthusiasm, he will be a great asset to the Academy,” states NAC membership committee spokesman Les Hunkele, PE, CCM, CPE, LEED AP, F CMAA, NAC.

Georgia DOT joins 11 states requiring e-Ticketing in 2026

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) has launched a statewide e-Ticketing initiative—starting in 2026, all contractors will be required to use e-Ticketing under Section 110 of GDOT specifications. As a first step, GDOT has implemented a dual-ticketing pilot—TruckIT, which requires both paper and electronic tickets.
