Park West Companies, a leading provider of landscape construction, landscape management and tree care services, recently participated in the American Heart Association’s annual Orange County Heart & Stroke Walk/Run held at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif.
This year’s event raised nearly $2 million overall for the fight against heart disease and stroke. In its third year participating in the event, Park West assembled 18 of its employees for an interactive educational display focused in growing tomatoes, part of a healthy and heart-friendly diet. The Park West team also provided other informational materials as well as water and snacks to the event attendees.
“The Heart Association events are an excellent opportunity to bring the community together around vital issues of health and wellness,” said Park West CEO Jim Tracy. “We are excited to be part of an event that brings so much hope to the countless people affected by heart disease.”
