The downtown hotel project has become the latest casualty of the COVID-19 pandemic. According to a letter to the Board of Aldermen from Rutland Redevelopment Authority, developer DEW construction has abandoned its plans to build a hotel on Wales Street. Read the Rutland Herald story here
