NYC’s Union Square gets 2 new hotels

The hotel capacity in New York's Union Square area is set to double when the Jade Hotel and the Hyatt Union Square open this spring. Damage caused by Hurricane Sandy last year forced the launch of the two properties to be postponed. Meanwhile, the W New York-Union Square has started on a $15 million "gut renovation." Target to invest in store brands, in-store shops

Target expects to spend $4 billion to $5 billion this year to expand its private-label lineup with new brands, roll out curbside delivery and open 20 stores. The company is also leaning into its in-store shop partnerships with brands like Ulta Beauty, Apple and Starbucks.
