The National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) will celebrate its 75th anniversary at Coverings 2022, the largest international tile and stone exhibition in North America, which is scheduled to take place from April 5 to 8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) in Las Vegas, Nev. In addition to a special awards ceremony, NTCA will host daily contractor tours, live demonstrations and educational sessions.
โ€œNTCA has evolved from a regional southern association to an internationally-recognized authority on tile and stone,โ€ said Bart Bettiga, executive director of NTCA. โ€œOne thing that has remained constant is our commitment to the professional installation of tile and stone. We look forward to continuing our legacy as the voice of the tile contractor.โ€
On Thursday, April 7, NTCA will hold its 75th Anniversary Reception from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in Room N112 of the LVCC. The event will feature a special 75th anniversary video, and recognize the NTCA Tile Person of the Year, TCNA Tile Person of the Year, NTCA Tom Ade academic scholarships, NTCA Five Star Projects of the Year and more.
NTCA will also host daily Contractor Tours from 11 a.m. to noon. Contractor Tours, which are led by NTCAโ€™s assistant executive director Jim Olson, will take attendees around the show floor to see the latest tools, equipment, and allied products for contractors, retailers, distributors, and specifiers. Those who are interested must sign up at the Coverings Lounge, beginning on Tuesday, April 5; registration is free and first-come, first-served.
As it does every year, NTCA will host daily demonstrations at its booth in the North Hall, N2862, as well as the Installation Innovation Stage. The sessions on the Installation Innovation Stage will be held on Tuesday, April 5, from 10 to 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 to 4 p.m.; Wednesday, April 6, from 11 to 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 to 4 p.m.; Thursday, April 7, from 1:30 to 2 p.m. and 3:20 to 3:50 p.m.; and Friday, April 8 from 11 to 11:30 a.m.
