Newmark Valuation & Advisory (Newmark V&A) is pleased to announce the new leadership and structure of its Healthcare & Seniors Housing Specialty Practice. Benjamin A. Tate has been promoted to Senior Managing Director and Healthcare & Seniors Housing Specialty Practice Leader. Tate will work closely with Matt Yance and Tim Gillespie, MAI, both promoted to Executive Vice Presidents, and new hire, Executive Vice President Charlie Henderson. Yance, Gillespie and Henderson have been tapped to lead the Seniors Housing, Hospitals and Medical Office sub-categories, respectively.

Tate has appraised over 600 assets throughout his career, including notable portfolios for domestic and international clients. A proven leader in the industry, Tate joined Newmark in 2017 as a founding member of the Healthcare & Seniors Housing Specialty Practice.

Yance, a distinguished seniors housing expert who brings nearly a decade of experience in both the private and government sectors, will lead a dedicated team specializing in valuation and advisory services for seniors housing assets. Gillespie, with over ten years of appraisal experience, specializes in the valuation of healthcare-oriented properties, with a focus on hospitals. Henderson, who focuses on medical office valuations, joins Newmark V&A with 17 years of experience from Colliers, where he most recently served as a Senior Valuation Services Director.
