Meeting at the intersection of classic “vintage” style and forward “studio” thinking, Jeffrey Court’s new Chapter 2 “Vintage Studio” was born out of an appreciation of a warm, unpretentious vintage style and an openness to modern design preference.  The Vintage Studio collection embodies both charm and comfort, as reflected in the two new ceramic mosaics recently added to the line.
The “Brushwork” mosaic features a chic, linear stick pattern that is available in six solid field tile colors and two color blends, “Natural” and “Organic.”  The “Composition” mosaic is a traditional 1-inch stacked pattern and is available in the same two complementary color blends. These blends are styled to be companions to the entire field and trim offerings featured in the collection.
The six field tile colors that complement the new mosaics include: Starry White, Mountain Mist, Enchanted Shadow, Crisp Linen, Natural Burlap and Antique Lace. Each is available in the timeless 3” x 6” subway tile size and a 3” x 12” bar tile, to satisfy modern design preferences.  Both are available in flat and beveled options. Trim pieces are also available in all six colors, with two glass mosaics, Gesso and Varnish, that add a touch of chic, and accompany the color schemes in the entire collection.
For ease of installation of the line’s beveled tiles, Vintage Studio offers a unique “Ramp Edge,” a signature trim piece that creates a finished edge on both the beveled and the flat tiles in the collection.  A 3” x 3” beveled tile is “dropped in” at the end of a run, eliminating any awkward cuts during a offset brick pattern installation.
