Big things are happening at //3877. The D.C.-based firm behind projects such as the historic restoration of Phoenix Park Hotel and Momofuku CCDC is growing. With a rapidly expanding portfolio of work across the hospitality, commercial, and residential markets, firm principals David Shove-Brown and David Tracz have welcomed two new employees this month.
- Project Manager Samantha Bennett joins the team with previous experiences at Juli Russel Interior Design Group and Cooper Carry in restaurant, hotel, and high-end residential architecture and design. Always a team player, Samantha says of the design experience, “The feeling of seeing a space go from conception to reality is not too different than stepping out onto the field and the anticipation you feel from the first pitch to the excitement you feel when your team gets that final run to win the game.”
- Interior Designer Jessica Matthews graduated Magna Cum Laude in May of this year from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BFA in Interior Design and experience interning at KSA Interiors in Glen Allen, VA. A self-taught graphic designer and award-winning stencil artist, Jessica is deeply interested in the relationship between people and spaces, and translates these principles to her work on restaurant and hospitality projects.
