Nebraska’s Fonner Park complex to be home to casino-resort

Elite Casino Resorts has been approved to build a $100 million facility at the Fonner Park horse-racing complex in Grand Island, Nebraska. The new casino-resort will feature a casino with a sportsbook, entertainment area and VIP lounge, along with a 116-room boutique hotel. Read the Lincoln Journal Star story here

Giant Food adds fast-casual restaurant to store

Giant Food has paired with area restaurant chain Nalley Fresh to open its first fast-casual eatery in Giant’s Ellicott City, Maryland store. Nalley Fresh will offer bowls, salads and wraps at the location starting today and will fill third-party delivery orders via UberEats and DoorDash.
