As a full-service practice, JZA Architecture respects and preserves the integrity of the environment, while seeking to enrich the diverse culture of Los Angeles and push the envelope of sustainability. Founded by Jeff Zbikowski in 2017, the firm specializes in the residential sector, including multi-family, affordable and transitional housing. Jeff and the JZA team can speak to a variety of topics including the local LA legislative impact on development, as well as historic preservation and adaptive reuse.
Some of the firms projects currently in the works include:
The Beverly Blvd Apartments—The Beverly Blvd Apartments combine architectural typologies by creating an angled three-story brick mass at the street level, exposing a single-level, glass retail volume at the ground floor. The top floors are clad with metal panels and punctured with large steel windows and doors, replicating the modern-industrial feel of the neighborhood.

Hoover Village—In order to provide a community for citizens in low to extreme low-income households, JZA has designed Hoover Village to provide both housing and supportive services for those with disabilities including mental illness, physical ailments and other chronic health conditions. The 67-unit affordable housing project prioritizes the health and wellness of residents.
