McDonald’s unveils a modern new look in Chicago

McDonald's opened its redesigned restaurant in the River North neighborhood of Chicago today, replacing the city's iconic Rock 'n' Roll McDonald's with a more modern take on the concept. The glass-encased eatery has trees on the roof, and solar panels provide about 60% of the restaurant's energy. Read the Eater/Chicago story here
