Marsh Launches Automated Version of SubSecure

Marsh, a leading insurance broker and risk advisor, has announced that its financial credit analysis tool is now available online, making it even easier for construction contractors, owners, and managers to control their subcontractor default risk.
SubSecure gives contractors peace of mind by analyzing the financial strength of their subcontractors and identifying those at high risk for default. Now in an automated format, SubSecure has been integrated into JBKnowledge’s platform, an online construction network that helps contractors find, qualify, and connect with other contractors for construction projects.
“As the number of subcontractor defaults continues to rise, construction contractors are seeking ways to effectively and efficiently manage their risk,” said David Hewett, Marsh’s US Contract Surety leader. “By automating our SubSecure tool, contractors not only have quick and easy access to their subcontractors’ credit worthiness, they also have a one-stop solution to find and prequalify subcontractors.”
Adam Denno, SmartInsight Product Director at JBKnowledge, added: “In today's construction industry, prequalification and assessment of risk should no longer be optional. SubSecure reports provide a clear, consistent, and accurate overview of key risk elements that contractors should be aware of when partnering on construction projects. We're incredibly excited to work with Marsh and power SubSecure through our SmartInsight online construction network.”
