Luminaut Welcomes Prominent Local Design Team

Luminaut, a vibrant, creative architecture and interior design firm established in 1968, announces two exciting additions to their team: Connie Jung as Client Leader and Debra Sparks as Senior Interior Designer.
Connie is an award-winning Interior Designer with over 30 years of experience. For the last 19 years, she served as Principal and Founder of Jung Design, an innovative commercial design firm based in Indianapolis. Joining Connie is Debra Sparks, a Senior Interior Designer who is known for her meticulous and enthusiastic approach to her work.
“We are excited to welcome both Connie and Debra to Luminaut,” said Matt Erdman, CEO of Luminaut. “They’re an inspiration to the architecture and design community and bring extensive expertise and a unique perspective. We are confident they will be a great asset as we continue to grow.”
Luminaut has experienced strategic growth over the past four years, including the 2021 acquisition of Rowland Design, Indiana’s 2019 AIA Design Firm of the year. As they continue to expand their presence in Indiana, Luminaut is thrilled to welcome these deeply established individuals and gain the diverse, complementary portfolio of Jung Design.
Connie was the first Registered Interior Designer in the State of Indiana and is a past President of the Interior Design Coalition of Indiana where she played a prominent role in the legislative effort that led to the Registration of Interior Designers. She is also the founding Chairman of the Indiana Legends IN Design event. In addition to industry organizations, Connie volunteers for Shepherd’s Center of Hamilton County, a non-profit that promotes and supports independent lifestyles for senior adults.
Debra is an award-winning designer with over 27 years of experience specializing in senior living facilities and public libraries. Her diverse portfolio also includes higher education, healthcare, religious, and civic spaces. A past instructor of Professional Practices at Ball State University and former art teacher at the Anderson Museum of Art, Debra enjoys sharing her passion for design with clients, co-workers, students, and friends.
