Lowe’s reported a surge in revenue of more than 24% last year as its e-commerce efforts ramped up and the popularity of new categories like toys and workout gear resonated with consumers during the pandemic. The chain, which began as a single small-town hardware store, turns 100 this year and will celebrate with a $10 million initiative to support community restoration projects in 100 cities and towns.
