Lowe’s will open an outlet store in part of a former full-service Lowe’s location on Friday in Irving, Texas, to sell large kitchen and laundry appliances, according to The Dallas Morning News. The retailer has opened similar stores in markets including Miami and Chicago, and rival appliance retailer Best Buy has 14 appliance and electronics outlet stores.
