Lowe’s will expand its in-store smart home shop concept to 70 stores in the US. The move follows a successful test of the SmartSpot shops, which allow shoppers to test gadgets before buying them, at several stores in California, and the shops will now operate in the New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, Philadelphia, Boston, Miami, Tampa, Fla., Charlotte, N.C., Raleigh, N.C., and Washington, D.C., markets.
