Houston-based Landry’s has bid $37 million to buy 35-restaurant casual dining company Restaurants Unlimited. Landry’s, which owns more than 60 restaurant brands, including Bubba Gump Shrimp Company and Morton’s The Steakhouse, is the lead bidder so far for Restaurants Unlimited, which filed for bankruptcy protection in July.
