The Sacramento (Calif.) Historic Preservation Committee has approved plans to renovate the vacant Marshall Hotel. The facade will be saved, but the interior will be redesigned, with a proposed 159 rooms. Work on the property, which will fly the Hyatt Centric flag, will take up to 22 months.
