Laminators Inc. is proud to announce the promotion of Christopher Bucci, MEng.CE, PE to Director of Engineering, previously holding the role of Lead Technical Sales Engineer.
In his new director role, Bucci is responsible for the development, analysis, and evaluation of all phases of engineering programs, plans and procedures; provide engineering consultation; review recommendations for design and methods as well as equipment purchases.  Bucci will manage various technical teams including field investigation teams, new product development teams and the entire Technical Sales Engineering staff.  Additionally, Bucci will coordinate and manage the creation, development, design and improvement of corporate products to conform to established program objectives.
Bucci has a combined 17 years of experience in engineering and management, of which three are with Laminators Inc.  He holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering with a structural concentration from Widener University in Chester, PA.  For his graduate work, he completed Widener’s dual MEng/MBA program; a coordinated, dual master’s degree program jointly administered by the  Schools of Engineering and Business Administration with concentrations in structural rehabilitation and engineering management, respectively.  Bucci is a licensed Professional Engineer in the states of Pennsylvania and Florida, and has practiced as both a structural design professional and a forensic engineer.  Prior to his career in engineering, he was a sales and management professional in the retail, telecom and hospitality industries.

Georgia DOT joins 11 states requiring e-Ticketing in 2026

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) has launched a statewide e-Ticketing initiative—starting in 2026, all contractors will be required to use e-Ticketing under Section 110 of GDOT specifications. As a first step, GDOT has implemented a dual-ticketing pilot—TruckIT, which requires both paper and electronic tickets.
