Laminators Inc. appoints Kurt Peterson as Regional Manager for Architectural Products in the Mid-Atlantic and Chesapeake regions.
As Regional Manager, Peterson is responsible for performing field promotional work and relationship management to sell and develop new business.  This includes working with current major accounts as well as developing new territories and new industries.  Some of Peterson’s main responsibilities consist of demonstrating products/services and providing product application advice to the customer, as well as coordinating company technical engineering services to develop solutions for the customers’ needs.  He will play a key role in increasing the regions’ sales volume and profitability.
Peterson has a combined 35 years of experience in many levels of sales and management within several areas of the construction industry.  Previously holding the role of Sales Director at Fellert North America in Chicago, IL, Peterson increased market awareness and sales opportunity for the Fellert acoustical plaster system within the central and western United States through architectural CEU presentations and collaborative sales efforts with independent representatives.  He holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Industrial Management with a minor in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN.
Peterson will be replacing Laminators Inc.’s current Mid-Atlantic and Chesapeake Regional Manager, Joe Hanratty, upon Hanratty’s retirement at the end of 2016.  During the interim, Hanratty and Peterson will be working side by side in the training phase as well as managing the sales functions for the architectural products in their region.

Georgia DOT joins 11 states requiring e-Ticketing in 2026

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) has launched a statewide e-Ticketing initiative—starting in 2026, all contractors will be required to use e-Ticketing under Section 110 of GDOT specifications. As a first step, GDOT has implemented a dual-ticketing pilot—TruckIT, which requires both paper and electronic tickets.
