Kroger adds new grocery delivery center in Florida

Midwest grocery company Kroger is building-out a logistics operation in North Jacksonville to deliver fresh groceries. Kroger Fulfillment Network LLC, part of Cincinnati-based The Kroger Co., is the tenant for a 62,208-square-foot space at 1 Imeson Park Blvd., No. 200. The project is described as a cross-dock for mercantile goods, which means goods are brought in and quickly shipped out to their destination. Read The Daily Record story here

Target to invest in store brands, in-store shops

Target expects to spend $4 billion to $5 billion this year to expand its private-label lineup with new brands, roll out curbside delivery and open 20 stores. The company is also leaning into its in-store shop partnerships with brands like Ulta Beauty, Apple and Starbucks.
