Kirei, a provider of innovative, eco-friendly acoustic design materials for commercial interiors, announces the release of two new PET colors: Latte and Seaweed. Together or apart, these colors are designed for those who expect materials to shape a space, bringing intention, atmosphere, and a sense of purpose to every environment. Available in 12mm PET, these new hues expand Kirei’s curated palette, unlocking a full spectrum of design possibilities, from grounded neutrals to expressive color. Effortlessly adaptable across environments, they bring depth and clarity to classrooms, workplaces, conference settings, retail spaces, and beyond.
The new colors include:
Seaweed: Bring a darker, ocean-grown depth to your designs with Seaweed. This rich, immersive hue anchors a space with quiet confidence, creating a sense of calm that feels both intentional and refined.

Latte: Latte offers a counterpoint. Warm, inviting, and quietly dimensional, it softens edges and layers with ease, bringing a sense of balance and cohesion to any space.

PET is a decorative, acoustically absorbent material with a felt-like finish that is made from recycled plastic bottles, with at least 60% recycled content in 12mm panels. It is a low-VOC material that meets requirements for LEED and other green building certifications. A Declared, Red-List Free material, Kirei’s PET also carries an HPD and EPD. From decorative wall tiles to ceiling clouds and baffles, PET’s strength shows through its material simplicity and design versatility.
Seaweed and Latte join the 30+ PET colors offered by Kirei. Both are available across Kirei’s acoustic solutions, all made from recycled PET and designed to support sound control while contributing to a more thoughtful material story. These additions bring depth and balance into focus, reflecting Kirei’s belief that materials should perform beautifully while shaping the experience of a space.
Kirei’s PET products can also be custom printed with Kirei Ink, Kirei’s in-house printing service. Designers can seamlessly blend the natural beauty of botanicals with subtle or striking stonework from more than 50 prints across Kirei Ink’s four collections, or create full custom color, pattern, graphic, or material expressions.
When specifying Kirei products, designers can also access Carnegie Design Services, a complimentary support service with an in-house team of design professionals to help with curating bespoke product selections to meet project design specifications, performance needs, and budget requirements. Design Services provides sample packages tailored to project requirements and expertly executed design layouts and renderings. An acoustic consultant is available for any project with complex acoustic performance requirements.
