Daylight systems company Kallwall Corporation has named Matt Demers Salesperson of the Year.
Demers lives in Auburn, NH and is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University. He joined Kalwall in 2019, and this is his first time winning the sales award.
Demers brought in $3.59 million in sales in 2022, propelling him to the top. “Matt worked very hard this year to develop strong partnerships that brought in some significant orders,” says Kevin Bruce, National Sales Manager North America for Kalwall. “He’s from the area and understands the region and the needs of the businesses here.”
“It’s definitely an honor to be recognized for such an achievement,” Demers said of the award. He attributes his success in exceeding sales goals to building and nurturing solid relationships with clients as well as support from the team at Kalwall and his family.
As the Region One sales representative, Demers works from the Manchester office and covers territory including Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and parts of Massachusetts.
“Matt works well with our internal team, and our partners support him,” says Bruce. “On top of that, he is a likable guy, which resonates with his customers. I don’t doubt it will continue to pay dividends for his sales efforts.”
Demers didn’t want to single out any one project from the past year but says, “They all had an impact on me. You’ll know if I’ve done a project because I’ll talk about it, and when driving somewhere with family and friends, I’ll take detours to show them to people. It’s a great part of the job and the territory.”
