InterContinental Hotels Group has unveiled a new brand prototype for Holiday Inn Express. Amenities include rooms with flexible workspace, luggage storage and movable seating, and a Great Room in the lobby with meeting space and an open business center. IHG plans to open the first properties retrofitted under the new design within the year and is aiming for a 2015 opening for the first new-build versions of the prototype.
