Hotels see big potential in small meeting spaces

The concept of small meeting spaces at the hotel lobby is gaining ground in the lodging industry as more hoteliers recognize the potential business boost in offering “micro-meetings” areas in a relaxed setting. The lobby at the Courtyard New Orleans Downtown/Iberville features six semi-circular “media pods” that grant enough privacy for small meetings while also offering leisure components such as a personal TV and free Wi-Fi.
