Hotel occupancy expected to break all-time record in 2014

PKF Hospitality Research predicts that the lodging industry will report record growth for year-end 2014, with the 55 major U.S. markets being monitored in its Hotel Horizons report expected to have achieved occupancy of 70.4 percent, surpassing the 69% peak level set in 1996. PKF-HR predicts aggregate occupancy levels of 70.8 percent this year and 71.4 percent in 2016 for the 55 Horizons markets. Read the Hotel Management online story here
