Sweden-based fast-fashion retailer H&M‘s new store openings averaged more than one per day during the past year, and the retailer plans to rack up a similar number of openings in the coming 12 months. H&M will enter new markets including Australia, India, and the Philippines, and it will continue to move ahead with brick-and-mortar expansion while taking a more measured tack when it comes to building its online retail presence.
