When one of the biggest general contractors in the country is working on its own building, the stakes are high, and the materials need to deliver.
SunGuard^® SNX 51/23 glass from Guardian Industries Corp. was the best product for the job, a completely retrofitted Atlanta office building that was selected to serve as JE Dunn’s new Southeast headquarters.
Glass Stream, a commercial glazier based in Atlanta, was tasked by JE Dunn to source the exterior glass for the project.

An important addition to the Guardian SunGuard portfolio of high performance, low-E glass, triple silver SunGuard SNX 51/23 has a visible light transmission of 51 percent and a solar heat gain coefficient of 0.23.
The original building was cut back to the concrete, giving JE Dunn and the building team a clean slate to design a unique entry foyer and a façade that allows abundant natural light to reach the interiors while managing solar heat gain, an important consideration given the hot Georgia summers.
