Sun Equity Partners and REDCOM Design & Construction LLC celebrated the ground breaking ceremony of Greenleaf at Union, located at 1235 West Chestnut Street in Union, NJ. Union Mayor, Manuel Figueiredo, and township committee members were in attendance in addition to representatives from Sun Equity Partners and REDCOM. The 76,813 sq. ft. facility will feature multiple retail storefronts in addition to an LA Fitness and Bob’s Discount Furniture Store.
Sun Equity Partners hired REDCOM Design & Construction LLC for complete architectural design as well as construction management for the new facility. REDCOM Project Architect and Project Manager, Jeff McCue and Rick Rinaldi respectively, worked closely with Sun Equity Partners to ensure the building received all township approvals and deadlines.
Site work has begun on the location and construction is expected to begin before the end of the month. The targeted end date for construction of the facility is Spring 2017.
Established in 2010, Sun Equity Partners is a privately-held real estate investment and development firm that specializes in the acquisition, expansion, renovation and operation of office retail, shopping centers and residential properties.
Established in 1982, REDCOM Design & Construction LLC is a multi-faceted design/build company headquartered in Westfield, N.J. Single source responsibility, qualified in-house professionals, and experienced project managers have enabled REDCOM to design, receive approvals, and construct many diversified facilities.
