GrizForm Design Architects, a leading hospitality design and architecture firm based in Washington D.C., is excited to announce that Melissa Morreale has joined the team as an interior designer. Morreale’s philosophy of “classic architectural elements meet modern furniture pieces” will naturally enhance the firm’s future projects, and expand GrizForm’s capacity for producing unique, contemporary creative solutions. Her addition solidifies a sturdy base for the firm to continue to grow; a priority mission for GrizForm as they take on an increased project load heading into next year.
“Melissa has the ability to layer textures and unexpected materials to create original, multi-dimensional designs,” says Griz Dwight, principal and founder of GrizForm Design Architects. “She is an asset to the firm as we continue to forge a new age of innovative and immersive hospitality projects.”
Morreale’s affinity for art and design began at a young age, when she constantly searched for new outlets where she could stoke her creative flame. Studying interior design at Marymount University—including a semester abroad studying architecture and design at the Lorenzo de Medici school in Florence—further set her passions ablaze. Morreale fine-tuned her skills working in residential interior design and the luxury furniture industry. She is ready to bring her knowledge of custom furniture and her creative problem-solving capabilities to her new role at GrizForm, where she will continue working toward National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) and LEED certifications.
