GRIFFIN ELECTRIC CONTINUES WORK ON REVERE BEACH APARTMENTS

Wayne J. Griffin Electric Inc. (Griffin Electric), a leading electrical subcontractor throughout New England and the Southeast for over 45
years, is currently making substantial progress on the Revere Beach Apartments project in Revere, MA. Griffin Electric is providing installation work on this new, 7-story mixed-use apartment building, which is expected to reach completion this Fall.

Totaling approximately 287,000-sf, this new luxury building will consist of 209 apartments, with the first two levels designated for parking, retail space, and amenities.
Amenities include a pool, roof deck, and an outdoor courtyard. Located in proximity to the ocean, these apartments will be highly attractive to prospective renters.

As construction continues, Griffin Electric is responsible for various aspects of the electrical work on-site. This work includes interior wiring, an energy code lighting control system, and a 350kW generator. The company is installing a full building addressable fire alarm system with local detection in the apartment spaces. Additionally, a 2,100-sf inground snowmelt system and control are being furnished and installed.

Griffin Electric is partnering with Congress/EMJ of Danvers, MA, who is managing the project’s construction. The Architectural Team of Chelsea, MA, is the architect, and Bala Consulting Engineers of Boston is serving as the electrical engineer.
