Maryland Governor-Elect Larry Hogan has named Bryant Foulger, Managing Principal of the Foulger-Pratt Companies, to his Transition Team.
Hogan has asked Foulger to draw on his 30-plus years of real estate and management experience to review Maryland’s economic development issues and initiatives. Foulger will also serve as a member of Hogan’s business regulation review team, which is focused on streamlining regulatory reviews and improving efficiency and processing throughout the State.
“Bryant Foulger’s broad knowledge of Maryland’s business climate, as well as his background in promoting economic development, will be a great asset as we move forward with the Transition Team’s work,” says Governor-Elect Hogan.
“I am honored to serve on the Governor-Elect’s Transition Team, and will use my experience in commercial real estate and as a business owner to support Governor-Elect Hogan’s initiatives and spur economic growth for the State of Maryland,” says Foulger.
Under Foulger’s leadership, the Foulger-Pratt has become one of the Washington, D.C. region’s most successful and respected real estate firms. Foulger personally has managed a wide range of real estate activities for commercial, multifamily, retail, and mixed-use properties, and has led all phases of acquisitions, development and ownership activities.
Foulger has also been instrumental in establishing and maintaining Foulger-Pratt’s reputation as a fair and honest business partner and practitioner. Through the adept management of both capital and human resources, Foulger has spearheaded development and execution of the firm’s vision and strategy, while helping it to meet and exceed goals set by Foulger-Pratt and its business partners.
Foulger is the Chairman of the Board of Directors and a member of Foulger-Pratt’s Investment Committee. He also serves on numerous professional and charitable boards, including the Montgomery County Business Development Corporation, the Greater District of Columbia Chapter of the Leadership Council for the Mayo Clinic, and the Montgomery County Business Advisory Panel. In addition, he is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, NAIOP, and other professional industry organizations.
