“It’s been a great year serving AIA Orlando in 2022, and I look forward to contributing as Treasurer,” says Dawson. “AIA Orlando is an incredible and enriching organization, filled with diverse leaders. I’ve made wonderful connections with passionate individuals who advance our industry. I wouldn’t be in this position if it were not for them and FK Architecture, who has supported me along the way.”

Dawson is an accomplished, goal-oriented professional specializing in project management, architectural design, and implementation. She has worked in several states and boasts an array of transferable skills such as strategic planning, client relations, problem-solving, and project oversight. She received her Bachelor of Architecture from Kansas State University. “We continue to be proud of Kelly’s contributions to the industry and our firm,” said Kimberly Hellekson, Managing Principal at FK Architecture. “Her experience and insight are instrumental at our firm, and it’s great to see her take on a new leadership position and continue evolving.”
