FK Architecture, a Fugleberg Koch Company, is pleased to announce Camuriel Parr as the recipient of the 2024 Robert and Joanne Koch Scholarship for Architecture. This merit-based scholarship is awarded annually to one exceptional student in Central Florida who demonstrates a strong passion for architecture and plans to pursue field-related studies at an accredited institution.

Camuriel graduated from Lake Buena Vista High, earned an AICE diploma, and is recognized as an AP Scholar. She will be entering her freshman year at the University of Miami, where she is pursuing a degree in architecture, focusing on creating spaces that best cater to human needs. Camuriel visited FK’s office and met the team, where she was awarded her achievement.

Camuriel attributes her success to the unwavering support of her friends, family, and teachers, who have encouraged her to explore her creativity and excel in mathematics. “I am very grateful for the opportunity that I have been given and plan to make the most out of my education in architecture. After visiting the FK office and witnessing the environment, I can wholeheartedly say I am even more excited to start my journey,” said Camuriel.

The Robert and Joanne Koch Scholarship for Architecture honors the legacy of Robert and Joanne Koch, who have made substantial contributions to the growth and equity of architecture in Central Florida and beyond. Robert Koch, co-founder of Fugleberg Koch, established this annual scholarship to invest in the future of the profession by supporting the next generation of architects and honor his late wife, Joanne Koch.
