Enprotech Industrial Technologies Expands Mfc Ops

Enprotech Industrial Technologies will complete a significant expansion project at its facility located at 16740 Industrial Parkway in Lansing, Michigan. The expanded facility will add 43,500 square feet of manufacturing space to the existing 35,000 square foot building, more than doubling the size of the Industrial Parkway operations, and positioning the company for future growth.

This project is the largest capital investment in EIT history, in addition to which, the company has made multi-million dollar investments in facilities and equipment over the last two years within its Metal Forming Division located in Lansing, MI, Elizabethtown, KY, and Saltillo, Mexico.

“Investing in our business is a key element in supporting our growth initiatives and building a long term sustainable business. This expansion will allow us to consolidate our Michigan manufacturing operations under one roof, providing greater quality and efficiency to our valued customers,” said Tom Leonti, President of the Metal Forming Division at Enprotech. “We are looking forward to having a centralized location in Michigan for our team members and customers.”

The expansion project signals a substantial investment in the local community. The company will extend its large and small assembly bays and its machine shop, along with a new welding shop and parts warehouse. Additionally, new state-of-the-art CNC machines and a heat-treating furnace will be installed. The existing parts warehouse will be repurposed to accommodate an increase in customer demands for our growing field service department team.

Operations will continue at the company’s existing Olds Avenue facility until the Industrial Parkway addition is complete. The Olds Avenue facility located in Lansing will be sold as manufacturing operations are moved to the larger, updated space.

The project architect is Michigan-based Andrus Architecture and Wolverine Building Group will serve as general contractor. Construction is slated to begin in late September.
