Eastern Kille Distillery’s expansion is beginning to take shape, as they will be hosting a groundbreaking at 7755 Childsdale Ave NE on Wednesday, January 4 at 9:00 a.m.. The 16-acre site, with access to the White Pine Trail, will host the new headquarters, expanded distillery operations and a bar and restaurant for patrons across the region.
“It’s exciting to watch the plans come to life,” said Steve Vander Pol, Co-Owner of Eastern Kille Distillery. “This new building expands our distillery operations, offers new space to age our award-winning spirits and creates a new engagement opportunities for people to experience the Eastern Kille brand.
The ground up construction of a custom-engineered building doubles the size of the distillery operations, allowing for increased production alongside elevated distribution opportunities. The tasting room will offer gathering spaces with custom created finishes for a uniquely Michigan atmosphere. Plans include an outdoor cocktail garden with connection to the popular White Pine Trail.
