East Coast Lightning Equipment, Inc. (ECLE), the premier lightning protection manufacturer in North America, has relaunched its website at www.ecle.biz.

The new site still features ECLE’s popular NFPA780 Lightning Risk Calculator, an easy-to-use tool to evaluate the need for lightning protection in a specific location for a specific building, plus a much expanded “Understanding Lightning Protection” section.

“Our information on ‘Understanding Lightning Protection’ may be the best educational source out there,” says Jennifer Morgan, Co-owner of East Coast Lightning Equipment. “It includes all of the information a design professional should take into consideration when it comes to lightning protection. It is a great resource for architects, engineers, contractors as well as building owners and homeowners.”

ECLE’s new site includes an expansive Building Type section to help project planners understand the special considerations for lightning protection that are relevant to their specific building occupancies or uses. Throughout the new site, there are plenty of photos to illustrate the various elements of lightning protection systems, as well as numerous photo galleries to peruse for education and inspiration.
