Popshelf, the format launched by Dollar General a year ago to court more affluent shoppers, has proven successful and the retailer plans to grow the chain from 30 locations to around 1,000 over the next few years. Dollar General also said it will open 10 locations in Mexico as part of a plan to grow by 1,110 namesake and Popshelf stores over the next fiscal year. CNN
