Dick’s Sporting Goods expects to trim plans for new store openings, launching up 15 to 20 next year and five to 10 in 2019, after missing first-quarter same-store sales growth targets, according to The Wall Street Journal. The retailer, which will open 43 new stores this year, may also opt to consolidate some stores and drop leases on other locations when they expire.
