The 1885 Carroll County Courthouse in Carrollton, Ohio has seen its share of history. Now, thanks to the installation of DaVinci Roofscapes^® polymer slate roofing tiles, the old chipped natural slate roof that was atop the three-story courthouse is part of that history.
            In 2014 a re-roofing project was completed by Architectural Roofing Contractors, Inc. on the courthouse that now boasts Bellaforté Slate roofing in the European-VariBlend color blend.

            When the team from Architectural Roofing Contractors came in to complete the re-roofing project they ably navigated several project site challenges. “The downtown location of the courthouse combined with keeping the county offices operating during the roof installation were our first challenges,” says Rodney Brown, an estimator with Architectural Roofing Contractors. “The height of the building and the 12/12 roof pitch were also situations we dealt with successfully. This was our first time installing DaVinci roofing and we’d use the product again. It was easy to install with a good coverage rate.”
            The final results gained a big thumbs-up from Eick and the county commissioners.
