Held annually by the UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science, the awards highlight the contributions that help the school maintain its standards of excellence in engineering education, research and public service. The ceremony was held on Nov. 1 at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Rice was recognized with a Lifetime Contribution Award for his years of service and support of the engineering program at UCLA.
