“Kate and Liz’s promotions come at an exciting time for CRTKL as we continue to grow in D.C.,” says David Asfour, COO. “I am thrilled to see them take on these important roles, supporting the needs of our clients and responding to evolving market demands.”

As D.C.’s Location Leader, Kate will oversee the staffing and resourcing of projects while promoting CRTKL’s services to obtain clients in new market sectors, aiming to grow in the commercial and healthcare industries and reinvest in federal work. Additionally, Kate will ensure that the culture of CRTKL is assimilated within DC in alignment with the organization's vision, values, and principles. Kate Gallagher has over fifteen years of experience improving AEC sales and growing company customer bases through exceptional management, strategic planning, and team leadership.

Kate will continue to serve as Director of Federal Services, providing strategic direction for CRTKL’s federal practice with advanced design solutions for civil servants.“I enjoy supporting our team in their design efforts and am committed to growing our DC office. One of my focuses will be on the flexibility for employees in a new hybrid environment.” said Kate.

In Liz Wozny’s new role as Office Director, she will mentor junior designers, cultivate a new culture within the D.C. office, and translate that into a hybrid work environment. In addition to ideating design initiatives for the region, Liz will also focus on giving a voice to design on a global scale while putting it at the forefront for the whole firm. “My goal is to bring more of a focus on design and mentoring future designers,” adds Liz. “I’m excited to get more people involved in our design culture.”

Liz Wozny, IIDA, LEED AP, NCIDQ, has twenty years of extensive project experience as an interior designer and has built an award-winning design portfolio with the workplace practice..
