Cicero’s Development Corp, a leading commercial property renovation contractor specializing in the hospitality industry, today announced the completion of the design-build of a new Muscle Maker Grill in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.
The former site of a pizza restaurant located at 430 Roosevelt Road, the rapidly growing fast-casual restaurant brand, which promotes a healthy lifestyle by offering a nutritious alternative to traditional dishes, opened this month with ample room for sit-down customers, along with offering take-out and catering services. The bright, inviting space features new flooring and countertops, a new ceiling, an updated kitchen and newly created ADA bathrooms.
Owners Erica St. John and Lynsey Heathcote became interested in this franchise after learning about Muscle Maker Grill’s uniquely healthy take on restaurant food. Unlike standard fast food laden with fat, sugar and carbs, Muscle Maker Grill serves its customers fresh, great-tasting food with their health in mind. Its menu satisfies everyone from vegetarians to the carb-free consumer to people following a gluten-free diet.
“Lynsey and I felt the need to fill a gap within the local marketplace for those desiring delicious, healthier menu options in a friendly, relaxed, and social environment,” explained Erica St. John. “Not only do our customers enjoy great-tasting Muscle Maker Grill food, they can also learn about how they can make healthier choices for their families, plus they can engage with other likewise thinking people tired of same-old food.”
When asked about their experience working with Cicero’s Development, Lynsey Heathcote admitted that the renovation project was a first for both she and Erica. Easing their concerns was Cicero’s hands-on approach. Cicero’s team undertook the project by first understanding the franchises’ goals and visions. Next, it implemented those same goals and visions through thoughtful planning, communication and development.
While most customers only notice the restaurant’s striking red and black décor and the smell of delicious food, Cicero’s performed extensive behind-the-scenes work including renovation of the existing plumbing, electric and HVAC systems. “We are grateful to the Cicero’s crew for helping us fully understand what goes into a project of this scope,” said Erica. “In the end, it all comes down to being able to serve our customers the best tasting, healthiest food in an inviting setting that has all the comforts they desire in a restaurant.”
