Caribou Coffee and Einstein Bros. Bagels are being merged in one location scheduled to open Wednesday in Colorado Springs, Colo. Both Caribou and Einstein Bros.’s parent, Einstein Noah Restaurant Group Inc., or ENRGI, are owned by German private-equity firm Joh. A. Benckiser Group, which plans to open about 20 of the co-branded units before the end of 2015.
