The 80-room boutique hotel planned for the former Zahn’s department store in downtown Racine has several unconventional features. The $27 million proposal by Milwaukee developer Dominion Properties will expand and restore the historic building overlooking Monument Square for the boutique hotel. It could open in May 2021.
